Beta Tau - Delta Xi Founders
On May 5, 1962, the birth of the Beta Tau Chapter occurred in the halls of Augusta Evans School under the guidance of Nora B. Hutchens, with state President Lillie Satchel presiding. Eight Charter members elected Edna Eiland the first president of Beta Tau.
On August 1, 2012, Beta Tau was reorganized under a new name: Delta Xi.
